Welcome Information

Once you have booked your tickets to Event(s) at The Festival on The Close we would draw your attention to the following important information to help you make the most of your festival experience:

Rugby School has a statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Teachers in charge of visiting school groups as well as parents of visiting children are responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of supervision whilst on the school site.

Additionally, those attending the Festival, including public, are required to remain within the areas of the school defined on the map and use only those defined routes. Please be aware that CCTV is in operation throughout the school site and that there are separate toilet facilities for adults and children which are clearly signed.

Rugby School is situated in the centre of Rugby town. For directions please click HERE. Rugby is very well served by fast rail routes from London (50 minutes) and Scotland as well as the Midlands. Car parking is not available at the school itself but is widely available very close by in the town centre and directions to Rugby School are very well signposted throughout the town.

A limited number of disabled car parking spaces are available in the Collingwood Centre Car Park for Blue Badge holders only. Please see Assisted Access arrangements below for more information on disabled car parking facilities.

Please bring your tickets to the event, these will be checked at the venue welcome desks. Access to the Festival Venue will not be granted without a ticket.

If you have misplaced your ticket, please contact us in advance: info@thefestivalontheclose.co.uk If you are unable to report a lost ticket in advance, please report to the venue welcome desks upon arrival where we will be able to help you.

For this event there will be Volunteer Marshalls, Car Park Attendants and First Aiders on hand, as well as other Front of House staff. Should you have any queries whatsoever at any time please speak to one of the Events Team who are there to help you.
