Thank you for booking your tickets for The Festival On The Close. Ahead of your visit, we would like to draw your attention to the following information to help you make the most of your festival experience.

CHILD PROTECTION & SAFEGUARDING

Rugby School has a statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Teachers in charge of visiting school groups as well as parents of visiting children are responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of supervision whilst on the school site.

Members of the public attending the event are required to remain within the public areas of the school as defined on the map. Stewards and staff will be able to help direct you. There are separate toilet facilities for adults and children which are signed. CCTV operation is in operation throughout the site.

HOW TO GET HERE

The Festival On The Close takes place in the historic grounds and venues of Rugby School, situated in Rugby town centre. You can find more information about town centre public transport and car parking on Rugby Borough Council's website. If you are travelling by train, the festival is approx a 20-minute walk from Rugby Station, or taxis are available outside the station.

A limited number of disabled car parking spaces are available for Blue Badge holders. Please see Assisted Access arrangements below for more information on disabled car parking facilities or call Dettie on 01788 556203.

TICKETS & WELCOME DESKS

Please bring your e-tickets to the event where they will be checked at the venue's welcome desks. Access to the Festival Venue will not be granted without a ticket.

If you have misplaced your ticket, please contact us in advance wherever possible by emailing info@thefestivalontheclose.co.uk. If you are unable to report a lost ticket in advance, please report to the venue welcome desks upon arrival where we will endeavour to assist you.

EVENT ASSISTANCE

A team of volunteer marshals, car park attendants and first aiders will be on hand throughout the festival to offer event assistance. Our friendly events team are there to help you, so please don't hesitate to ask them if you need any help or have any questions during your visit.

REFRESHMENTS, BARS & TOILETS

Looking to enjoy some food at the festival? Picnic areas will be signposted upon arrival. You can purchase refreshments from a range of vendors at the festival.

Bars will open at 6pm each evening, serving a range of alcoholic and soft drinks. Please be aware that plastic glasses only will be allowed inside the festival venues. Please do not bring any glass onsite.

Toilet facilities are also available, location will be signposted at the venues.

TAKING YOUR SEAT AT THE VENUES

Please allow plenty of time to find your venue and seat. We request that you are seated at least 10 mins before the scheduled performance start time. Latecomers may not be admitted.
